Maple Pear Cupcakes

Ingredients

• 2 medium pears, peeled, cored & diced (1 1/2 cups diced)
• 1/2 tsp nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (NOT breakfast syrup)
• 1 Tbsp vanilla
• 1 1/2 cups cake flour, sifted
• 1/4 cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened & cubed
• 1/3 cup sour cream
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
