- 125g bean sprouts
- 1/3 cup fried shallots (available from the asian section of your supermarket)
- 1/4 cup lemon or lime juice
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 red birds eye chilli, finely chopped
- 3 teaspoons castor sugar
- 2 teaspoons fish sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
