• 2 tablespoons cumin seeds
• 1 tablespoon dried thyme
• 3 cinnamon sticks
• 4 whole cloves
• 6 whole allspice berries
• 5 ounces dark Mexican chocolate, coarsely chopped
• 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
