You can use any flavor cake mix — white, chocolate, lemon, strawberry — go crazy! And have fun with the fillings. Some of my favorites
Ingredients
- 1 (15- to 16-ounce/425-gram) box cake mix (I used Duncan Hines Butter Golden)
- 1 cup all purpose flour, such as Glicks
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 (21 ounce) can Gefen Apple Pie Filling
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup cinnamon streusel or Gefen Cinnamon and sugar mix
