Ingredients

• 1/8 cup All-Purpose Flour or Bread Flour
• 1 tablespoon of sugar
• 1 packet of active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
• 2/3 cup of Hot Water
• 5 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour or Bread Flour
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 1/2 cup milk
• 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 large eggs
• 3/4 teaspoon almond extract or vanilla extract (I use almond if I have it)
• 1 egg lightly beaten
