  • 1½ l of chicken broth
  • boiled chicken
  • 1 star anise
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 360 g of rice noodles
  • limes for serving
  • fresh chiles for serving
