- 1/2 cup semolina (sooji, coarse)
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1/2 cup yoghurt (curd, dahi)
- 1/4 cup water (or as required to get dropping consistency of batter)
- 1/4 tsp cooking soda
- 2 tbsp onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp coriander (washed and finely chopped)
- 1 tsp curry leaves (washed and finely chopped)
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida
- 1 small green chili (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp ginger (grated)
- 2 tbsp carrot (grated)
- salt (as per taste)
- 2 tbsp oil (for greasing and cooking)
