Rich French Stew

Ingredients

• 1/2 bottle cheap red wine
• 2 tbsp any vinegar
• 4 crushed cloves of garlic
• 1 onion chopped
• 4 carrots chopped
• 1 bayleaf - 3 cloves
• 5lb stewing steak
• 1/2lb smk streaky bacon diced
• olive oil, 1/2 cup flour
• 2 tbsp brandy
• 2 cloves garlic
• orange peel
• cup of black olives
