  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups cooked rice (preferably short-grain)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon asafoetida (hing)
  • 10-12 cashew nuts
  • Curry leaves
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts (optional)
