Chicken Aknee Amended Recipe 2022 recipe by Fatima Latib

Ingredients

• 1 & ½ chickens cut and washed
• 3 potatoes cut in ¼'s
• 1 & ½ cups basmati rice
• 2 onions chopped fine or a handful of fried onions
• 2 tomatoes liquidised
• Add a handful of fried onions or you can braise onions (you’ll need 2 onions to braise).
• 2 cinnamon sticks
• 2 Elachi (cardomom)
• 3-4 peppercorns
• 2 tomatoes 🍅 liquidised
• 4 teaspoons @sujees_gourmet_foods memon aknee masala
• 2-3 teaspoons salt or to taste
• 1-2 teaspoons fine red chili powder,
• 2 teaspoons coriander powder
• 2 teaspoons fine cumin powder
• ¼ teaspoon turmeric
• 3 tablespoons tomato 🍅 purée/2 tablespoons tomato paste.
