Filippo Berio Fig and Grape Cake

Ingredients

• 15 dried California figs, stemmed and cut into quarters (1 cup total)
• 2 tbsp orange liqueur or orange juice
• 2 cups cake-and-pastry flour
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/8 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/3 cup Filippo Berio Olive Oil
• 4 medium-size eggs
• 1/2 cup buttermilk
• 1 cup whole seedless red grapes
