Lemon Pistachio Sponge With Creamcheese Frosting recipe by Ruhana Ebrahim

Ingredients

• 4 xl eggs
• 1 ¼ cups ordinary sugar
• 1 ½ cups cake flour
• 2 teaspoon baking powder
• 125g butter
• ½ cup full cream milk
• ½ - 1 teaspoon lemon essence
• Few drops yellow food colouring
• ½ cup chopped pistachios.
• 2-3 cups icing sugar
• 1 tub lancewood cream cheese
• Lemon juice (reserved from above)
• Crushed pistachios
