Ingredients

• 1 onion peeled and grated
• 1 clove garlic crushed
• 3 rashers lean back bacon fat removed and cut into matchsticks
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• a good pinch chilli flakes
• 400g tin chopped tomatoes
• 150g bucatini or other long pasta
• a small bunch parsley roughly chopped
