- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1/4 cup eggnog
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Dash salt
- GLAZE:
- 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- 3 to 5 teaspoons eggnog
- 1 teaspoon dark rum, optional
