Banana, Date and Walnut cake - Sticky dates, crunchy walnuts and sweet bananas make a delicious cake, for dessert or snack
Ingredients
- 200 g self raising flour
- 1 tsp each of salt & baking powder
- 200 g granulated sugar
- 200 g softened butter
- 2/3 ripe bananas, peeled and mashed
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup of roughly chopped walnuts
- 1 cup chopped dates
- a handful of walnut halves to decorate
