Ingredients

• 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
• 1 onion (small, chopped)
• 1/2 cup carrots (chopped)
• 1/2 cup potatoes (chopped)
• 1/2 cup celery (chopped)
• 2 tablespoons flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
• 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
• 1 pinch black pepper (optional)
• 1 bay leaf
• 2 cups chicken stock (or turkey stock)
• 1 cup frozen peas
• 2 cups cooked chicken (or turkey, chopped)
• 1 Pastry for 9" double pie crust
• 2 tablespoons milk
