Ingredients
- 3 apples (Honeycrisp is delicious)
- 2 small pears (Bosc variety works well)
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries (optional)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter or walnut oil
- 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- -Large pinch of fine sea salt
- 1/2 cup of toasted walnuts for garnish (see note)
