How to Make Rugelach | Pastry Recipes | Jewish Recipes
Rugelach is one of my favorite pastry recipes. Quite easy to make, it is a favorite of Jewish cookie recipes for the holidays.
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon orange rind (grated )
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup pecans (chopped )
- 1 tablespoon water
