Tart rhubarb adds a tangy twist to classic Jewish rugelach in this spring-inspired dessert.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 package yeast
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 lb rhubarb, washed and sliced (only rhubarb stalks are edible. Discard the rest).
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 cup orange juice
