- 2 1 lb flat iron steak (blade steak)
- salt and pepper, freshly ground, plus 1 additional tsp pepper
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter or margarine, cold
- 4 med onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp Amore Herb Paste
- 1 tube Amore Tomato Paste
- 1 tbsp Amore Garlic Paste
- 2 1/2 cups dry red wine
- Italian parsley, chopped for garnish
