• 1 butternut squash (about 2 pounds/1 kg) peeled, halved, seeded and cut into 1-inch (2.5-cm) chunks
• 1 medium Granny Smith apple peeled, cored and cut into 1-inch (2.5-cm) chunks
• 1 can (410 ml) reduced sodium chicken broth
• 1/3 cup (75 ml) orange juice
• 2 tsps (10 ml) cinnamon ground
• 1 tsp (5 ml) ginger ground
• 1 cup (250 ml) fat free half-and-half
