Two Rivers Vineyard - Recipes - Yukon Gold potato leek soup paired with TRV 2018 Chardonnay

Ingredients

• 3 tbsps unsalted butter
• 4 large leeks white and light green parts only roughly chopped, about 5 cups
• 3 cloves of peeled and smashed garlic
• 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and roughly chopped into 1/2
• 7 cups chicken or vegetable stock
• 1/2 cup TRV Chardonnay
• 2 bay leaves
• 3 sprigs thyme
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp ground pepper
• 1 cup heavy cream
• chopped chives for garnish
