• 16 oz French bread ( loaf of day-old )
• 2 ½ cups milk
• 1 cup half & half
• 4 eggs (lightly beaten)
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 Tablespoon vanilla
• ⅛ teaspoon salt
• ½ cup butter (softened)
• 1 ½ cups brown sugar (packed)
• 1 cup pecans (chopped)
