• 1 tbsp butter
• 1/4 tsp onion powder

• 1/2 cup (125 ml) ketchup
• 1/4 cup (60 ml) vegetable broth
• 1 tbsp (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tbsp (15 ml) cider vinegar
• 1 tbsp (15 ml) maple syrup
• 1 tsp (5 ml) Dijon mustard
• 1 egg
• 3/4 cup (45 g) panko bread crumbs
• 1 lb (450 g) firm tofu, cut into 8 thick slices
• 2 tbsp (30 ml) vegetable oil
• 1 head Boston lettuce, cut into wedges
