- Extra flour for flouring surface
- ¼ cup ofgranulated sugar
- 1 TSP ofactive dry yeasts
- ½ TSP ofsalt
- ¾ cup ofmilk - preheat in microwave to lukewarm (about 90 to 100°F)
- 1egg
- 4 TBSP ofunsalted butter - room temperature (1/2 stick, cut into small pieces )
- 2 cups ofmilk (adjust if needed, preferably whole milk*)
- 1 cup ofpoppy seeds (*)
- 1 TSP ofcinnamon
- ½ cup ofgranulated sugar (*)
- ¼ cup ofpreserve of your choice
- ¼ cups ofmilk
