Ingredients

• Pizza baking stone (if you don’t have one a baking sheet will work)
• 1 prepared pizza dough
• All-purpose flour, for work surface
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 red onion, thinly sliced
• 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
• ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• 8 ounces part-skim mozzarella, shredded (about 2 cups)
• 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
• 3 tablespoons olive tapenade
• ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
