Ingredients

• 2-3 T. butter
• 4 cloves garlic, crushed
• 1 -2 lb ground beef, lamb or combo
• 2 medium onions, 1/4 inch slices
• 2 hot and 2 bell peppers, sliced
• 1 lg. eggplant (2 lb.), 1/4 inch slices
• 4-6 med-large tomatoes, minced
• olive oil
• 1/2 t. cinnamon
• 1 T. salt
• Pepper to taste
• 1/4 t. cloves
• 1/4 c. toasted pinenuts
• 1 c. grated mozzarella, or scamorza
