Pamirdin: A Tajikistani Delight that Meat and Potatoes Can't Resist!

Ingredients

• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup water
• 3 cloves of garlic, minced
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

• 4 mediumsized potatoes, peeled and cubed
• 1 teaspoon ground cumin
• 1 large onion, finely chopped
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
• 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
• 500 grams of lamb or beef, cut into small cubes
