Ingredients

• 2 cups (500 mL) all-purpose flour, plus more for work surface
• ½ cup (125 mL) granulated sugar
• 1 tbsp (15 mL) baking powder
• ½ tsp (2.5 ml) salt
• ½ cup (125 mL) unsalted butter, very cold and cubed
• 1 large egg
• ½ cup (125 mL) buttermilk
• 1 ½ tsp (7.5 mL) vanilla extract
• 1 large peach, diced
• 2 tbsp (30 mL) turbinado sugar
