An amazing center piece at the christmas dinner, or any fancy dinner. A beef Wellington is made with tender beef, mushrooms and crunchy puff pastry, mm!
Ingredients
- 600 gram beef (e.g. tenderloin)
- 250 gram mixed mushrooms
- a few thyme sprigs
- olive oil
- pepper and salt to taste
- about 6 slices of Serrano ham
- large sheet of puff pastry
- all-purpose flour
- 2 egg yolks + a tablespoon of water
