- 1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 2 scallions, thinly sliced
- 1 fresh Korean green chili pepper, stemmed and cut
- 1 cup Classic Kimchi, drained
- Salt and pepper
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Lettuce leaves, for serving
- 4 cups white rice, for serving
- 1/3 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 1/2 tbsp. garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. ginger, peeled and minced
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. sesame oil
- 2-3 tbsps. sugar
- 1 tbsp. Asian rice wine
- 2 tsps. gochugaru (Korean dried chili pepper flakes)
