Creole Shrimp Po'Boy with Spicy Remoulade Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup mustard, preferably Creole mustard
- 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
- 1 to 2 teaspoons Cajun or Old Bay Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
- 1 small sweet dill pickle, minced
- 2 teaspoons hot sauce
- 1 clove garlic, smashed and minced
- 1 cup finely shredded purple cabbage
- 1 cup finely shredded green cabbage
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion
- Remoulade (recipe above)
- oil, for deep frying
- 1 pound large or jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons Cajun spice
- 1 tablespoon spicy mustard
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons key lime or 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 cup seasoned cornmeal fish breading, preferably Zatarain's Fish Fri
- 3 hoagie rolls or French bread
- 1 cup shredded provolone (optional)
- 3/4 cup coleslaw (recipe above)
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions, to garnish
