Cheesy Chicken Tamales - Borden® Cheese

Ingredients

• 20-25 Corn Husks
• 2 cups masa harina
• ½ tsp. baking powder
• ½ tsp. salt
• ⅔ cup vegetable shortening (room temperature)
• 1½ - 2 cup no-salt chicken broth (or regular broth and omit the salt listed below)
• 3 cups Borden® Finely Shredded Four Cheese Mexican shreds or another Borden® Shred product
• 2 cups cooked shredded chicken meat (canned chicken also works well and saves time)
• 1 jalapeno, diced fine (fresh or jarred/canned)
• 2 garlic cloves, minced (or 1 tbsp. garlic powder)
• 2 scallions (or green onions), chopped fine
• 1 tsp. ground cumin
• 1 tsp. ancho chili powder
• ½ tsp. black pepper
• Zest of 1 lime
• Juice of 1 lime
