Asian Craving Sweet and Sour Chicken Burger - Sutter Home Family Vineyards

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 vinegar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 2 tbsp ketchup
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp garlic salt
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 2 tbsp cornstarch
• 1 can of pineapple juice
• Salt / pepper to taste
• 1/2 tsp paprika
• 1/2 tsp red pepper
• 1 small egg
• 1/8 cup milk
• 1/8 cup regular breadcrumbs
• 2 lbs ground chicken
• 1 pineapple (fresh may be substituted with canned slices)
• 1 big onion sliced
• 1 bell pepper sliced into strips
• 1-2 loaves (depending on lengths) of artesian ciabatta bread cut horizontally and then cut into 6 three inch slices
