• 1 envelope active dry yeast
• ¼ cup water
• ½ cup butter
• 1 cup lukewarm milk
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoon sugar
• 4 ½ to 5 cups sifted all purpose flour
• 3 eggs, slightly beaten, plus 1 egg for the wash
• ¾ pound ground beef
• 1 onion, minced
• 2 tablespoon water
• ½ tablespoon olive oil or butter
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ¼ teaspoon black pepper
