Fish Curry recipe by Fouziah Pailwan

Ingredients

• 1 teaspoon whole jeeru (cumin)
• 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
• 1 teaspoon Methi (Fenugreek) seeds
• Few curry leaves 🍃 & slit chillies
• 1 small piece ginger 🫚
• ½ teaspoon Methi (Fenugreek) seeds
• 3 garlic pieces
• 2 whole cloves
• ½ red onion or 1 small
• 2 teaspoon amli (tamerine) concentrate or soaked aamli
• 2 teaspoon chilli powder
• 1 teaspoon dhana jeeroo
• ¼ cup water
• Add above to golden brown onions.
• Add in 2 sliced garlic
• 3 Liquidised tomatoes 🍅
• 3 tablespoon tomato 🍅 puree
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• Allow to cook on low heat till thick.
• Add in ½ tin coconut 🥥 milk
• Add in cut Fish of choice
