Recipe: Scabbardfish with banana - Ocean Retreat
The black scabbard (or espada) is a fish species living in the great depths of the Atlantic Ocean. It is very common on Madeira and can be found in most restaurants.
Ingredients
- 2 filets of black scabbard, about 200gr each
- 2 Madeira bananas
- A pinch of salt, freshly chopped oregano, and freshly ground pepper
- Garlic
- Flour
- Breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs (one for the fish and one for the bananas)
