Spicy Butternut Squash Stew

Ingredients

• 3 teaspoons cumin seeds
• 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
• 1 large onions chopped
• 6 cloves garlic crushed
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• ½ teaspoons cinnamon
• 1 pinch cayenne pepper
• 1 jalapeño peppers seeded and finely diced
• 2 small butternut squash peeled, seeded, and chopped (8 cups chopped)
• 15 ounces fire-roasted crushed tomatoes
• 2 cups water
• 1¼ teaspoons sea salt
