Shepherd's Pie with Sharp Canadian Cheddar | Canadian Goodness

Ingredients

• 3 medium sized celeriac peeled and cubed
• 2 medium sized yellow-flesh potatoes peeled and cubed
• 1 bunch of fresh spinach washed
• 1/2 cup (125 mL) butter
• 1 onion chopped
• 1 1/2 lbs (675 g) ground lamb
• 2 tbsp (30 mL) fresh rosemary chopped
• 1 garlic clove finely chopped
• 1/3 cup (80 mL) chicken broth or 1/3 cup (80 mL) 35 % cream
• 2 tbsp fresh chive chopped
• 2 sweet potatoes boiled
• peeled and sliced into 1/4 inch rounds
• 8 oz (250 g) Sharp Canadian Cheddar or Canadian Miranda or Old Canadian Swiss cheese grated
• Salt and pepper to taste
