- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 250 grams green string beans (chopped in 5mm lengths)
- 2 tablespoons oil (vegetable or peanut oil)

- 2 cucumbers, thin sliced (Lebanese cucumbers)
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 2 tablespoon caster sugar
- 1 small chili pepper (fresh, seeded and sliced)
