Recipe: Beef Bulgogi

Ingredients

• 500g rib eye or sirloin steak,very thinly sliced
• 3 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon mirin
• 4 cloves garlic
• 1 inch piece ginger, peeled
• 1 red apple, cored and skinned
• 1 teaspoon sesame oil
• ½ teaspoon dark soy
• Sesame seeds, to garnish
• A few thinly sliced spring onions, to garnish
• Rice, to serve
• Kimchi, to serve
