Hot chocolate cake recipe

Ingredients

• 225 g unsalted butter, softened
• 450 g icing sugar, sifted (confectioners' sugar)
• 75 g cocoa powder, sifted
• 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
• 5 tbsp whole milk
• 75 g cocoa powder
• 375 g caster sugar
• 375 ml boiling water
• 200 g unsalted butter
• 3 large eggs
• 335 g plain flour
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
• 2 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
• 0.2 tsp ground cayenne (optional)
• 300 ml double cream
• 1 handful vegetarian marshmallows
• 10 g 70% dark chocolate, grated
• 1 pinch ground cinnamon, for dusting
