Prune rugelach | Fast Ed
I love these little pastries. Prune Rugelach aren't too sweet and have the perfect combination of cinnamon and cloves.
Ingredients
- 1 cup pitted prunes, chopped
- ½ cup brandy
- 10 slices stale white bread
- ½ cup raw sugar
- 250g unsalted butter, cold diced
- 250g cream cheese, softened
- 300g plain flour
- 200g caster sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- 1 egg, beaten
