Ingredients

• 3 tbsp butter or margarine
• 1 cup chopped onions
• 3 slices of bread
• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef (or degrease regular ground beef in 3 quart w/insert)
• 1 tbsp salt
• 1/2 tsp flour
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1 tbsp flour
• 2 beef bouillon cubes
• 1 cup boiling water
• 2 tbsp cooking sherry
