Ingredients
- 4 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup or raw honey
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil or unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour (gluten free substitute: 3/4 cup brown rice flour plus 3/4 cup almond flour)
- 1 Tbsp tapioca flour
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- a few pinches of ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- a pinch of salt
- Two small heads of broccoli
- 3/4 cup raw almonds (cashews or walnuts will also work)
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 cup arugula (basil or mints leaves can be substituted)
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 3 tbsp flax oil or extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
