• 1.2kg potatoes (Maris Pipers)
• 1 tbsp. olive oil
• 1 onion and 1 carrot, diced
• 700g lean minced beef
• 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp. tomato purée
• 1 tsp. dried thyme and 1 bay leaf
• 3 tbsp. plain flour
• 2 heaped tsp. Branston Pickle Small Chunk
• 200g canned chopped tomatoes
• 250ml beef stock
• 2 egg yolks
• 60g butter, melted
• 60ml whole milk
