• 2 c. unbleached flour
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 c. softened butter
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 1/2 TB orange flour water or
• 2 TB orange juice
• Frosting:
• 1/8 tsp. saffron threads or powdered saffron
• 1 1/2 tsp. warm water
• 1 1/2 tsp. orange flour water or orange juice
• 1 c. confectioners sugar, sifted
