• 1/4 cup caster sugar, plus extra

• 4 cups bread flour

• 60g butter, chopped, softened
• 1/3 cup raisins
• 1 teaspoon powdered gelatine
• Desiccated coconut and hundreds and thousands, to decorate

• 11/2 cups icing sugar, sifted
• 2 teaspoons butter, softened
• 2 tablespoons hot water
• 2 drops pink food colouring, to tint
