Sindhi Spinach – Singh from the Hearth

Ingredients

• ⅓ cup yellow split dal
• 2 carrots
• 2 sliced small potatoes
• 12 oz cubed frozen spinach
• 2 garlic cloves
• finely chopped 1/2 inch of ginger
• ½ minced small yellow onion
• 1 tbsp tomato paste OR diced tomato
• 1 tsp cumin
• 1 tsp coriander
• 1 tsp tumeric
