Cherry Crumb Cake

• 1/2 cup All purpose flour
• 3/4 cup +1 tablespoon Sugar
• 1 teaspoon Baking powder
• 1.5 cup All purpose flour
• 1 pound Pitted Cherries
• 1/2 cup Buttermilk
• 1/2 cup Sugar
• 2 large Eggs
• 1/8 teaspoon Salt
• 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
• 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
• 1.5 teaspoon Almond extract OR Vanilla Extract
• 1/4 cup Melted butter
• 1/2 cup Softened Unsalted butter
